Self Reflections

Web Design Continuation 
For this assignment we had to finish creating our whole web page within in 6 days but I only had 2 days to do this project, due to the days that I missed I did not have a complete understanding on how we were suppose to navigate our web page so it can turn out the right way and my project did not turn out very good because of that.




Web Page Self Reflection
This front page design was very complicated and took a lot of hard work and revising, it took 5 days to complete this project including the extra days that we were given to complete this project. For this project we had to create a home page for our web site and the tools that were used to complete the project was the color tool and the shape tool and the text tool.






Kony 2012 Self Reflection

The Kony 2012 promo package took a lot of research and a lot of time and work, the 4day project had a lot of meaning to it and was something that I support and enjoyed doing. For this project we had to creat a hand flyer, poster and sticker to support Kony2012, the tools used to creat this project was the gradient tool, the shape tool, and the symbol tool. My Kony 2012 promo package turned out to be a B project, my project was very different from the other Kony 2012 flyers and posters and that is what I was trying to go for.

Character Profile Sheet Self Reflection
This character profile sheet that we had to design is 2days required me to stay focus and use my time wisely, this was done in Adobe Illustrator and the tools used to create this project was the text tool and the gradient tool and the elements of art used to design this project was color. I think that my project turned out to be a A- project and really stood out, the color I choose for my profile sheet was very different and was not a simple average Character profile sheet.


Character Design Self Reflection
In this 5day project we had to creat our own character piece by piece, the tools used to creat my chracher design was the 3D tool, the color tool and the shape tool. This project took a lot of work and I did a lot of research to make sure that I turned out with a character that I 100% like and an A+ character design. The elements of art used in this project was color, shapes and balance, my project turned out to be a B+ project and I was very proud to start off bad and come out with something that looks good and something that looks like it took a lot of work.


Oh scape Self Reflection
For this 5day project we had 2 days to sketch out any part of the school of our choice and then recreate it, this project was completed in Adobe Illustrator and the tools used to complete it were the 3D effect tool and the shape and color tool, the element of art used in the project was color, my project did not turn out the way I thought it would and it could have been a lot better, my project turned out  to be a C- over all and if I took more time out to get everything in order and in place than I think it would have turned out a lot better.


Google Doodle Self Reflection

This project required a lot of attention and required a good amount of time, for this project we had to create a Google Doodle that represented an pacific time period. The project was done in Adobe Illustrator CS3, the elements of art in my Google Doodle was color and balance. My Google Doodle turned out ok but I think I could have done a little better because at on point I became very stuck and did not know what else to include in my project. Also I do think that my time period could have been betrayed a little better because the time period I choose which was the 90's made my project kind of common and unique a little.

Self Illustration (mySELF)

This 5day project was very challenging and took a lot of hard work and time, with this project we had to creat a self illustration of our self's with objects in it that express who we are. The tools that I used to creat this self illustration of my self were the shapes tool, the color guide tool and the live trace tool. The elements of art that was used in this 5day project was color, texture and shape value. This was a very chanllenging project that took a lot of work, the reason why I came out with 2 self illustrations of my self was because I could not decide on one and they both look different from each other. My self illustration turned out to be a C- project and I think it could have been a lot better.

Product Sheet Self Reflection

With this project we had to design a product sheet for the product that we created, this 3day assignment took a lot of time to research and design, the tools that were used to help create this project was the shape tool, the text tool and the gradient tool, the element of art in this assignment was color. This was an A+ project that I created in 3days because I spent a lot of time on this project and did a lot of research on product sheets before I got started on my project. My project sheet was very nice and creative and is something that would catch someone's eye and get their full attention.


my PRODCT Self Reflection

With this 5day assignment we had to create our own product that has not been invented yet in the world. The product that I created was a 3D projector mood changer alarm clock, the tools that were used in Adobe Illustrator to create this project were the shapes tools, the 3D effect tool and the type tool. The elements of art were color and contrast, I think that this project was a B project all the way because it was very creative and this is a product that people wold buy because they would use it everyday and it's something that people can finally enjoy using.

my iPOD Self Reflection

With this 3day project we had to creat a 3D Ipod of our choice, the Ipod that I choose to do was the older Ipod nano because it was very simple to creat. The tools that I used was the 3D tool and the shape tool, I think this was a B project that I did because I did everything that we were suppose to do with our Ipod and my skin for my Ipod really represented me all the way and my Ipod looked like a Ipod that was well put together in 3days. The side of my Ipod could have been a lot better if I spent a little more time planning on how I was going to creat it but other than that I think this project turned out really nice.

Myspace Self Reflection
With this 3day project we had to create a room with our lamp that we created in it, with this project I had to really think out the box once again in order to creat a room that would represent me and a room that would really stand out. The element of art that was used is this project was color and balance and the tools that were used was the 3D effect and the pen and shape tools. I do think that my project could have been a little better and that I could have added a little more to it but my project turned out to be a very nice B+ project. I came up with a good idea by adding my other projects into this one and it turned out very good and I don't think that anyone could be that creative as I was.




Lamp Self Reflection

This project was a challenge because we had only 2days to do it, My lamp was a assignment that we had to make a 3D lamp that you would not really see in a store. The tools that were used to create this project was the pin tool and the shape tool and the elements of art that I used were color. I think this was an over all B project because I had to think out the box to come up with this lamp and this is a lamp that you would never really see and my lamp is very different from other lamps.

Emotions Self Reflection(Anger)

With this project I had to think out the box and come up with a symbol that  represented the emotion that I had which was anger. This project was done in Adobe Illustrator and was a 5 day project, the tools that I used to complete this symbol of anger was the flare tool and the pen tool and the elements of art that was used was color. I thought really hard about what I wanted to create and I wanted to come up with something that was very creative and different from others. I think my project was a B project because it looks like a very uncommon symbol of anger and no one would really be able to come up with or create what I was able to do. 

Still Photo self reflection

This project was a 4day assignment called "Still Photo", for this assignment we had to place a object that we created in a background that we took a picture of. The object had to really be placed in a background that made the object be out of place like a SUV in a school hallway for example. The object that I created was a screen of a computer, at first it was a hole computer but ended up being just the screen of the computer because my computer was acting slow and I forgot to save my original background so I had to go and start all over. The tools that I used to do this project was the color tool, the shape tool and the 3d tool all in adobe illustrator. The element of art that was used in this project was balance and contrast and I think this "still photo" that I created turned out to be a B project because my object blended in with my background and my objected looked very realistic.

Tessellation Self Reflection

This 4 day assignment that was done in Adobe Illustrator was a tessellation project. The tools that I used to complete this project was the pen tool and the shapes tool as well. The elements of art that was used in this project was color and objects, In this assignment we had 4days to design a tessellation with patterns in it. My project turned out to be a C- project but could have been a B project if I understood what I was doing in the color wheel project, but also I do feel and think that my project was very different from others and very original. 

Color Wheel self reflection

For this one day project we had to creat a "7by7" color wheel similar to the example that we saw on artistontheloose. Out of all the projects I think this was the one that I had the most problems with putting together and that's why my color wheel turned out to be a D and incomplete. The elements of art that was used for this project was shape and color.

Water Mark self reflection

With this project we had to creat a logo that represented us, the logo that we created will also be placed on all of our future projects. I missed one major day on this project so I really was behind than everyone else who was on their 2nd day while I was just getting started on my water mark on day2. The elements of art that was used to put together and creat this water mark was color and shapes. At first I did not have a complete understanding on how I was going to creat my water mark and what key elements I was going to use in order for my water mark to to represent me and me only. I think that my water mark turned out to be a B- or a a C project, I think this because it had everything that we were told to have in our water mark and my water mark represented me all the way and was something that no one would think of doing and it was very creative and out the box.

Typography Scence Self Reflection

For this project we had to creat a typography scence using our typo object in it. We were given 4days to complete our 8.5 by 11 project, to complete our typography scence we had to creat out lines and also distort. The element of art that I used to complete my typography scence was shapes and color. I think and feel that my project could have been a lot better if I had a simple object for the Typo project that had to be included in this project. My typography project was a C- and could have been a lot better if I took the time out to make sure I liked what I had in mind to creat in words with my typo object blending in with it. I kind of did not not like the way my project turned out and felt that if I planned out everything a little better than my project would have turned out better than it did. The Typography Scence was also very different and did not look plain at all even though it did look like my objects were kind of all over the place.

Zombify Self Reflection


For this project we had to to take a pictutre in the photo booth and then transform our selves into a zombie. This project was done in photoshop, the key to our project was the picture that we took in photo booth, and the reason of that was because the way I posed in my picture helped me a lot in creating my project. The object of our project was to take elements of a zombie and features of a zombie and add them to ourselves in our picture that we had to pull up in photoshop. The element of art that was used to creat this was transformation and the tools that I used to help me transform my self into a zombie was the burn tool mainly, the loso tool, the quick selection tool, and the erase tool. I think that I met the expectations for the project even though it could have been a lot better and a lot of things were missing from it. My final design turned out to be a C project because some things was missing and more could have been added to it. Even though a lot could have been added to my project it turned out looking ok even though it was not the way I planed for it to look on the final day. The zombie of my self was very creative and stood out from everyone's zombie because my zombie did not look like a basic zombie and I used a lot of originality.




Typo Object Self Reflection


For this project we had to creat a 8.5 by 11 object that had to be just black and white with out any color. I had a very hard time with this project because I missed a day because of testing and on top of that my computer froze when I was just about to be done with my typo object. Because of that my project did not turn out at all how it was at first and turned out to look like a D project when it was a B or C project before the computer froze. I was told in my last year Cg1 class that we should all save our project every chance we get but I was way into my project and trying to get it done so I did not do so and ended up with a D project. The element of design in this project was balance and was also the element I used to complete my Typo Object. We also had to creat out lines and distort in order to get the project in the right form and way it was suppose to be. The object I did was a Galaxy tab and the word I used was tablet.


Type Face Art Self Reflection

For this project we had to create a animal or object using all of the letters in it's name. This project was similar to the word animal project we did but this time we could not text wrap any of the letters and we had to add color to it. The elements of design that was used for this assignment was color, balance and texture. I think this project was a C project because it looked like a basic word animal and the animal did not turn out the way I wanted it to look. I had a lot of problems with this project and did the best I could even though I feel and think that this project could have looked much better. I did make a sketch and plan everything out but the project just did not look how I wanted it to be.
